Goods Through Grace

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening! My name is Axel Balogh and I am a student at Pensacola High School in Pensacola, Florida, enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program. One of the requirements for the IB program is to complete a Community Service, or CAS project. I felt that there was no better way to complete this project and to aid my community than to work with my church, Grace Lutheran. This fundraiser is for the less fortunate children that attend Holm Elementary here in Pensacola, as many of them find themselves wondering when their next meal might come. The Backpack Ministry at Grace Lutheran has been collecting donations and aiding these children for a few years now, and there are no plans to stop. As the school year continues, I hope to work with all of you to help give these children a better life as they go back to school.
