Gonzo's Car Accident Fund

The week before Christmas Gonzo, Courtney and I were in a major car accident.  We got rammed by a women who ran a red light and nailed the back end of the car where Gonzo was sat. The impact of her crash caused Gonzo to be slammed against the car and pelted with the groceries that were in the backseat with him. After multiple vet visits and x-rays it has been determined that Gonzo will need surgery in order to walk and hopefully run again. Anyone who has ever met Gonzo knows that he is more than just a dog. He is my best friend and with your help I am really hoping we can get him back running around on the beach again. I want to thank all of you for your help in getting my baby better, love you guys!

UPDATE: Gonzo's Cranial Crucial Ligament ruptured due to the impact of the car crash. The X-rays shows that a piece of bone fragment got chipped off and ruptured his ligament. My girlfriend and I are searching around for the best and most reasonable surgeon there is for our little fur baby to get fixed as soon as possible. We hate seeing him in pain and unable to bounce around and go on walks for hours.  We are currently battling with the insurance companies to pay for his injuries but unfortunately pets are not typically covered and they have been very unhelpful. This has been an extremely difficult time with the injury to my baby Gonzo, the major injuries my girlfriend sustained and my car being totaled. We thank you all so much for you help and support and if there are and funds left over after we pay for Gonzo's surgery we plan on donating them all straight back to other animals injured in accidents.
