Family and Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Gonzalo. Anyone who had the honor of meeting him knows how remarkable of a human he was and the impact he had on so many peoples lives. He was by far an exceptional and amazing father of two 8 and 7 year-old boys, who were his absolute everything. Not to mention, he was also a genuinely loving, loyal and supportive son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, nephew, cousin, co-worker and friend to many, to say the least. Gonzalo had an innate ability to brighten the mood in any room he stepped into with his memorable and infectious smile.
It was a few years ago that Gonzalo picked up his early childhood hobby of bike riding. He spent most weekends riding along with close friends and training for races. Although the reality of him no longer physically being with us is very difficult to accept, we are at peace knowing he left by doing one of the things he loved most--riding his bike.
We are extremely grateful for all the love and support from all the people Gonzalo knew from all corners of the world. This page is ultimately intended to raise funds towards all funeral costs, including transporting him to his native country, to be reunited and next to his father in Cochabamba, Bolivia. All thoughts and prayers are extremely appreciated and are definitely being felt through this difficult time. God is so good. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
