Gold Star Mother of fallen Marine needs your help

A Gold Star mom to a fallen hero, Major Samuel Griffith, USMC, who was killed in 2011 in a combat operation in Afghanistan, needs your help. Two years after losing their son, Kathi and Donnie Bischoff started an annual golf tournament in his name, partnering with Renewal Coalition of Jupiter, Florida, a non-profit, to raise funds for combat injured and ill veterans and their families, donating 100% of proceeds. They have hosted six extraordinarily successful golf tournaments.

Not only have they been able to provide more retreats for combat veterans and their families, but also have provided service dogs to deserving disabled veterans because of Donnie and Kathi's hard work.
These Gold Star parents give of their time each year, selflessly, to honor their beloved son and hero, so that other veterans can be honored.

Donnie, suddenly fell ill on June 30th, 2020. Donnie had to be placed on a ventilator. After 10 days in ICU on a ventilator, he was removed from a ventilator which left him in a weakened state and loss of use of his arms and legs. He has been placed in a long-term rehabilitation facility, for months, to regain strength of his arms and legs.
This has reduced their income over 50%, at a time when they will require long term rehabilitation, as well as extensive home improvement for Donnie to eventually safely come home.
I realize this is a difficult time for everyone and perhaps, you don’t have much to give. I ask if you could give even $1 or $5 to help this Gold Star Family that has given the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Most of us will never know the unimaginable pain this family has endured on behalf of our country, but we can show our gratitude by helping the family of a fallen hero who gave his last full measure of devotion for you and me.
We could never repay them for their ultimate sacrifice, but let's all try to do what we can to help.
