Going first. A ski story between sisters

Hi, I’m Lynsey. I made Pretty Faces, the first multi-sport action film for women. It sold out over 100 grassroots shows and funded a non profit getting girls outside for a few years. The movie is still downloaded every day for the past 10 years.

There are so many stories to tell, I’m here to showcase needed role models who inspire us with the way they live. AJ Cargill is one of those. This will not be a typical Ski film of a few young guns looking sick in the air. This is the story of the long game. An athlete blossoming later in life proving you don’t have to peek when you’re 20. Going first will tell the story of AJ Cargill who helped pioneer the sport of free skiing and inspired her cousin next. But what happens when the one who went first feels usurped and overshadowed by her cousins success 15 years after. Join us as we share the struggle of attempting to live a dream across generations through the love and sometimes challenging relationship between sisters who happen to be cousins.

PS. If you’re wondering how much it takes to make a movie it’s about at minimum three times as much as we are asking. Our hope is to let this be the beginning of a fundraising campaign to make sure the people who need this story see it..
