<div>The Knitting Club and Sewing Group provides a safe and welcoming space where gogos (grandmothers) of the community can come together each week to connect, create, share stories and, most importantly, find a sense of purpose while feeling cared for and valued.

<div>The club relies on donations to provide wool, fabric, cotton and other craft materials that the gogos use to create beautiful handmade items.
</div>

</div>
<div>During our time in Durban, we’ll also be volunteering our time — helping with activities, spending time with the elders, sharing meals, and simply being there to connect and support the community.
