I have been happily teaching music since 1997 to a wide variety of communities and I have always had a heart for my students with special needs. It has been my dream to create a safe space for these friends where they can express themselves with high quality instruments tailored to their exact needs.
Drum circles are a powerful venue which require no precious knowledge or skills. Coming together in community, no matter the size, helps us all grow physically, spiritually and emotionally.
My goal of $5,000 will cover the cost of my dream drum set (plus a few other supplemental instruments) and administrations fees. The set that I want elminiantes high frequencies which would be very cool for my friends who are on the spectrum.

I’m kinda, ya know, a legendary creature,
I’ve taught all kinds from young to old,
But lately, my luck’s been running cold.
See, I moved from my school in the Midwest,
Where I worked with people who are the best!
But since my move to the sunny left coast,
I can’t find one single music ed post!
Plus, all my money’s its done run out
And it’s time for Sue go to get bailed out.
But have no fear, I’ve a good thought,
Start a business of something I’ve already taught.
Drumming circles, I know it sounds trippy,
You’re probably thinking of patchouli and hippies.
Science says it release endorphins,
It’ll decrease all that pain you’re sportin’
Don't forget about your immune system,
You’ll feel connected, now please just listen!
Most important is your attitude,
We live in a world that feels down right crude,
But when you’re drumming with your friends or your family
You leave behind all that anxiety.
So, join my cause to help folks out;
Teachers, lawyers, kids and Scouts.
