Fe's Fight

'Fe's Fight' began in 2000 at the age of 41 when she was first diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.  Through chemotherapy clinical trials and radiation therapy, her life was saved though she suffered greatly from the ongoing side effects of her treatment.  A couple of years later, Fe discovered another lump, and it turned out to be yet another type of breast cancer.  She then proceeded with the recommended bilateral mastectomy and radiation treatment. A few years passed and she made the difficult decision to have reconstructive surgery when they once again discovered more cancer. As you can imagine this was devastating news.
Fe recently fell and broke her pelvis where it was discovered that the cancer had metastasized into her bones.  At this point she was no longer able to work and the medical bills began to escalate. Fe's care throughout her journey has been extremely complicated as she has struggled to see the right doctors, have the appropriate scans, get her medications in a timely manner and find transportation.
Fe is now terminally ill with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and there is no hope for a cure or remission.  She faces daily struggles with her diagnosis as well as her financial situation.  Fe's only source of income for several years has been her monthly disability allowance.
Due to Fe's need for financial assistance we have put together this fundraiser in hopes of relieving at least a portion of her overwhelming medical bills. 
Any donation, large or small, has the potential to make a huge impact in Fe's life and hopefully relieve some of the stress and worry for someone already compromised by this tragic illness.
