Dutch Student Horn Competition (DSHC)

Hello! My name is Megan Brouwer and I would like to raise money for a French Horn Competition for Conservatoire students that study a French Horn bachelor or masters in The Netherlands. I will use the money for financing good jury members, pianists to accompany the participants, prices, posters, a photographer, decoration for the hall and more.

 

As a student I always try to gain as much as experience as possible in the musical field, which also includes participating in competitions. During my search for competitions I realised that there are unfortunately not so often French Horn Competitions in The Netherlands. Because of this I decided to organise one myself! I would love to create an opportunity for my friends and colleageus to explore, experiment and hopefully learn a lot with this experience. The Competition will hold place in April 2022, so I hope that I can raise the amount of money I need for this project by the beginning of January.
