Dear friends and well wishers,
We, a group of over 150 physicians and healthcare practitioners (Alumni of BMC class of 1992) from across the globe are in the process of organizing procurement and delivery of the following critical supplies to India which is in  the midst of a devastating COVID 19 pandemic. Due to high infection rates and increasing numbers of patients with acute respiratory failure, there is a severe shortage of oxygen therapy equipment listed below.

Supplies: Oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinder regulators, nasal cannula, face masks, pulse oximeters.
Target for April spike: 750-800 concentrators and humidifier bottles, 500 oxygen cylinder regulators, 1000 nasal cannula and face masks at a cost of over $500K+

Our Mission

Despite concerted effort by government and NGOs to procure supplies, there is an underlying inequity in patient access to covid relief resources for people in regions across India. As the 3rd leading state (https://www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6) in covid infection rates and death count, Karnataka - bangalore in specific with a population of over 12 Million+  - continues to fall behind in access to oxygen therapy supplies.. We prioritize allocation of funds for healthcare centers in marginalized areas. Our  mission is to eliminate health disparities amongst patients and ensure equitable access to oxygen during Covid. Be it in a hospital, home or a parking lot.

Local charities and NGOs help distribute equipment to hospitals, clinics in Karnataka, India. We also ensure outreach to Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) in rural Karnataka - often the only resource for professional medical care in their vicinity. Our goal is to reach outlying regions that have limited access to O2 therapy amid burgeoning infection rates.
