Preserving Peter J. Greenwood's Legacy
It is with a heavy heart that I find myself requesting emotional and financial support. I am beyond heartbroken and devastated by the loss of the man I loved, Peter John Greenwood, whom COVID-19 has taken from me on 1/7/21.
For over 8 years, I supported him in every way. We were soul mates. Peter's death was so unexpected, I am lost without him.
My heart feels as if someone has stabbed a virtual knife into it, and I can't stop the emotional bleeding. I have no family left; and because of the decisions my parents made for me when I was 16, I didn't get to have children.
Peter was my only support system physically, mentally, and financially. He also taught me some Aussie phrases, and to say that it has been "bloody awful" is an understatement.
It will be so hard trying to begin again at age 62, but for some reason, God has kept me here for a higher purpose. I believe that I must carry on my husband's legacy in preserving Classic Television programs.
That is why I have a new mission: to dedicate the rest of my years on Earth to ensure Peter, "My Protector," and his hard work and dedication will never fade away. He was a creative genius. I will always cherish the time we had together as husband and wife; and business partners too.
If you knew Peter, you know how much he would appreciate anyone who could donate to help me to protect the work he has done and to make sure I have a small safety net to protect myself on my new journey. He helped most for free or very little money because that was how important it was to get not only the shows he controlled as the World Wide Licensing Manager of Chertok Television but for many others shows too.
By sharing our experiences with each other, we came to realize how similar our life experiences were growing up. May God bless all out there who are grieving for someone they have lost and are alone in this world then you can understand and have empathy for what I am going through.
Anything you do in the Entertainment Genre most don't make tons of money and gets lots of rejection; but that never deterred him. The way I can memorialize my husband's hard work and effort will be to help keep his memory alive by being remembered for all the work he did as a voiceover actor and so much more.
I will always be proud to be his wife and business partner and will keep his memory alive because he loved me just for me,
Please share this page as much as possible to help spread the word about my husband's sudden passing. Even in death, you can show him how much you loved and cared for him and the hard work he put in preserving old shows which was of utmost importance to him for other to enjoy once again.
