Dominick Cavaliere Help With Medical Expenses

My brother Dominick has been dealing with serious medical issues for almost two years. He has had six surgeries on his leg including several skin grafts, rods and total knee replacements . He has had and continues to have serious infections which he receives intravenous antibiotics around the clock.  He also is facing the possibility of having to have his leg amputated. He has been in and out of the hospital, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers for months. He has been bedridden this whole time. After his last surgery two weeks ago there was an issue with Medicare and because of the issue no rehabilitation center or nursing home would admit him and so he had to go home. He is now at home with drains, wound vacs, picc lines etc. We have had to get all kind of hospital equipment in addition to, a special lift chair,  hospital bed and an air mattress because of bed sores.He has to be transported back and forth for appointments to the Chicago University Hospital quite often and the transport expense is $500.00 a trip. He was just there last week and has to go again on December 31st and January 7th. He will probably have several additional transports after that.  He needs 24hr care and his wife has been missing work to care for him. He does have a home health care person come to clean the wounds but his wife Debbie has to administer all medication, antibiotics, and attend to all of his needs.
He has a Medicare hearing in January but with the way this health care system is who knows what the outcome will be. Needless to say they need financial help for his medical care, medications, medical bills and daily living expenses. On top of all these challenges Dominick is a heart failure patient with his heart operating at around 20-25%. This past year has been a very stressful and difficult time physically, emotionally and financially. Please continue to pray for Dominick and Debbie.
