Made to Survive - Joe Marinelli

As some of you may know my brother in law Joe, who is a hard working husband and father of two, was diagnosed at 39 years old with an aggressive form of Multiple Sclerosis in August 2015 which causes mainly pain and fatigue. As a result, he lost his job that he has worked at for almost 20 years in December 2017. His symptoms have since progressively worsened despite the IV medication and physical therapy has became too exhausting and painful for him, he now finds it difficult to stand for 20 minutes at a time. He is heartbroken that he cannot play outside with his children, or do family activities because he finds himself needing breaks frequently.

My sister Joann has taken on a second job, working over 70 hours a week all while tending to Joe and their two children (Jonathan 5, Scarlett 3) but it is beginning to take a toll on her as well, while she battles with her own disabilities.  Joe is unable to take care of Scarlett while Joann is at work and JR at school, which now requires childcare.

Joe and Joann both are incredibly independent, strong willed and are so positive about life. It hurts my heart to see such genuine people going through this difficult time while trying to keep their head above water with the cost of daily living and now medical bills, medication costs and a purchase for a wheel chair ramp.

I am asking for anyone that is able to, please help us raise money so we can purchase a ramp and a stair lift for Joe, and hopefully give them some financial relief. Thank you ❤️
