Crowdfund Big Boy Series on The Steam Channel

This Go Fund Me page was setup to collect donations to fund an educational video series covering the construction of a 1.5" scale, 7.5" gauge Union Pacific Big Boy project on The Steam Channel. If you are interested in seeing such a video series, consider a donation to help fund this build series. The initial funding needed to start this series is $51,000 which will cover the fabrication work to get the Big Boy's chassis running on air and the construction of an ASME certified boiler. If each of our 80,000+ YouTube followers alone contributed .64 cents, the initial cost of this project would be funded. If that can be achieved, we will cover any build expenses exceeding the initial $51,000 to bring you the Big Boy series after work is completed on our UP 844 ALCO Northern.

Chassis work on Big Boy will include the fabrication of the pilot, pilot truck, trailing truck, valve gear, side rods, main rods, brake rigging, and the cylinder blocks and components. The drivers will also need to be quartered, have tires installed, and crankpins will need to be machined and pressed into the drivers.
