Seit dem 16. März 2020 befindet sich in Peru das ganze Land in Ausgangssperre. Die Lage ist ziemlich kritisch. 1,2 Millionen Menschen haben ihren Job verloren. 70% der Bevölkerung arbeitet im informellen Sektor oder in der sogenannten Schattenwirtschaft. Daher gibt es für diese Menschen keine staatliche Hilfe. Es fehlen noch 15 Tage bevor der Lockdown zu Ende geht, aber viele Menschen haben schon jetzt kein Geld mehr und nichts zu Essen. Seit ein paar Wochen sammeln sich Leute auf der Straße und bereiten in einer „Olla Común“ (solidarische Suppenküchen) Essen für die Gemeinde. Auf der Straße wird auf Plakaten um „Lebensmittel fürs Kochen“ gebeten.
Ich möchte helfen und habe aus diesem Grund diesen Spendenaufruf angefangen, für Carabayllo, einen Standort in Lima, dessen Einwohner um Hilfe bitten. Meine Mutter wohnt in Lima, Peru und wird die Lebensmittel kaufen (Reis, Kartoffeln, Quinoa, Hafer, Milch, Trinkwasser) und sie abgeben.
Dass die Ausgangssperre in 15 Tage aufgehoben wird bedeutet nicht, dass alle ihre Jobs wieder bekommen werden und mit dieser kleinen Spende, helfen wir den Menschen in Not.
Peru has been in curfew since March 16th, 2020. 1.2 million people have lost their jobs. 70% of the population works in the informal sectors or in the so-called shadow economy. Hence, they have not received government aid. The situation is very critical. In 15 days the lockdown will end, but many people don’t have any more money or food to eat. Since a few weeks ago, people have been gathering on the streets and preparing a potluck “Olla Común” for the community. There are posters on the streets: "We need food to cook". I would like to help people in need and for this reason, I am starting this fund-raising for a town in Carabayllo, Lima Peru, whose residents are asking for help. My mother lives in Lima, Peru and will buy the groceries (rice, potatoes, quinoa, oats, milk, drinking water) and hand it over. The fact that the curfew will end in 15 days does not mean that everyone will get back their jobs and with this small donation we can help people in need.
