Hi, all. I debated whether or not this would be a good idea to create, but I really need the help if anyone is willing.

Last Saturday, November 9th, my beloved car was stolen out of my the parking lot where I work. It was my "Friday" of the work week, and as I reached the parking lot, I discovered my car was absolutely gone. No glass, no skidmarks- nothing.

After speaking to the management of the lot and to the police, it was discovered that, alas, my car was not towed and needed to be claimed as stolen.

Several days later I received notice that my car was found. It has severe damage to the front due to an accident the people who stole my car got into. The police have very little details and as far as they have told me there is NO further investigation as to who these people were or how long they had been watching me to get the chance to steal my car. There's not even information as to if they hurt anyone else in their accident. 

My car is now undriveable. I cannot lift the front hood to see too much until it is to a repair shop, but I got notice the radiator is dead. The passenger side windshield has been completely smashed out. The passenger side door won't even open due to the damages in the front that squished the front end of the car back. The ignition is in terrible condition. Some things were stolen and other things thrown around the car. I wish I could provide photos, but the police department's impound won't allow any photos from within the center.

The worst part of this is that my insurance will not cover any of it. I signed up with my agency believing I had full coverage, just to find out this weekend I do not and they they will not assist in anything. This has devastated me. While I will be signing up for full coverage immediately, the current situation I am in includes no help/coverage from my insurance.

For those of you that didn't know, this car was my grandmother's car. It was very, very dear to me and I took care of it like a child. I am looking at towing charges, repair charges, and any charges that will come with buying a new car if necessary (alongside registrations fees and mechanical fees). I currently don't have a concrete way of getting to work and back, as I work very early hours all the way across town. I would bike to a train station, but someone stole my bike as well. Those who are able to help are doing the best they can.

I feel very uncomfortable asking anyone for money. This all has been such a shock to me. On top of college loans, I am worried about what it will take to pay for all of this. If anyone has a few extra dollars to spare, I'm trying to find funds to dig myself out of this mess and get back to a stable situation.

I truly appreciate anyone who helps out here. I am very thankful for those around me who have supported me thus far in figuring things out, and thank you in advance to anyone who helps and contributes.
