<div>After suffering for more than a hundred days of war, destruction, and extermination of people and civilian objects on the one hand, and the war with cancer on the other hand, I finally managed with great difficulty to arrive in Egypt with my mother to proceed my treatment from the disease that was discovered in the winter of 2022. The treatment was delayed due to the war and stopped for a period of more than three and half months whereas I was receiving the treatment at Agosta Victoria Hospital in Jerusalem.

<div>‏We spent the first five days of the war in our home but were forced to leave after the heavy bombardment of the neighborhood. We then spent the rest of the first fifty days of the war in Gaza City with our Grandparents in the Shiekh Radwan area to the north of Gaza City, where we were forced to flee again to the Abu Iskandar area due to the continuous bombing and targeting of several nearby buildings.

<div>On the fifty-first day of the war, we went to Khan Yunis to apply to travel to continue the treatment outside the Gaza Strip. After about a month of staying in the city of Khan Yunis, we were displaced for the fifth time to Rafah, where my mother and I were able after more than two weeks to cross to Egypt.

<div>‏Currently, my father and my four siblings are still suffering from the pain of displacement, bombing, terror, and widespread epidemics that threaten their lives in the temporary shelters spread everywhere in the city of Gaza. On roads, sidewalks, playgrounds, and vacant lots. The rest of my family now resides in a temporary shelter in a residential apartment near the Palestinian-Egyptian border in Rafah, where we and other 6 families of our relatives share this temporary shelter.

<div>‏While the war is still ongoing, our house was destroyed and our neighborhood was blazed, the neighboring residential towers, and the only resort that was on the Rafah seashore, which was completely blown up.

<div>‏Under the current circumstances in Gaza, my family faces a tragic and uncertain future. We have no shelter in which we can settle, and the opportunities for me and my siblings to continue our education are almost vanished.

<div>‏My beloved family consists of seven members, our parents Mahmoud Hamada (father) and Ola Hamada (mother), and their children: Ahmed Hamada (me), Nour El-Din Hamada, Muhammad Hamada, Zeina Hamada (sister), and Karam Hamada.

<div>‏After losing our home, our dreams, and our memories, we still have a hope to rebuild ourselves again in peace and reassurance. We are now in dire need of communication and cohesion, and we are striving to achieve reunification, especially since my younger siblings depend heavily on my mother’s attention and care. We look forward to reuniting our family members and ensuring their arrival to Egypt to live in peace, as living in Gaza has become a challenge day after day as a result of the devastation that has befallen the region and the lack of opportunities in the near future for education and the continuation of life.

<div>بعد معاناة تجاوزت المئة يوم من حرب التدمير والإبادة للبشر والأعيان المدنية من ناحية والحرب مع مرض السرطان من ناحية أخرى، وصلت أخيرا وبصعوبة بالغة إلى مصر مع والدتي لاستكمال علاجي من المرض الذي تم اكتشافه في شتاء 2022 حيث تعثر العلاج بسبب الحرب وتوقف لفترة تجاوزت الثلاثة أشهر ونصف حيث كنت أتلقى العلاج في مستشفى المطلع بمدينة القدس.

<div>قضينا الخمسين يوما الأولى من الحرب في مدينة غزة مع أبي وأمي وإخوتي حيث نزحنا من بيتنا إلى منزل جدي وجدتي في منطقة الشيخ رضوان إلى الشمال من مدينة غزة حيث اضطررنا إلى النزوح مرة أخرى إلى منطقة أبو إسكندر بسبب القصف المستمر واستهداف عدد من المباني المجاورة.

<div>في اليوم الواحد والخمسين توجهنا إلى خانيونس من أجل التقديم للسفر لاستكمال العلاج خارج قطاع غزة وبعد حوالي شهر من المكوث في مدينة خانيونس نزحنا للمرة الخامسة إلى رفح حيث تمكنا أنا وأمي بعد أكثر من أسبوعين من السفر إلى مصر لاستكمال العلاج.

<div>وحاليا لا يزال أبي وإخوتي يعانون من الآم النزوح والقصف والرعب والاوبئة المنتشرة التي تهدد حياتهم في مراكز الإيواء المنتشرة في كل مكان من مدينة رفح؛ في الطرقات والأرصفة والملاعب والأراضي الخالية. حيث تقيم باقي أسرتي الآن في ملجأ مؤقت بشقة سكنية بالقرب من الحدود الفلسطينية المصرية في رفح حيث نتشارك نحن و6 عائلات من أقاربنا في هذا المأوى المؤقت.

<div>وبينما لا تزال الحرب دائرة فقد أدت الحرب إلى دمار منزلنا وحرقت حارتنا والأبراج السكنية المجاورة والمنتجع الوحيد الذي كان على شاطئ بحر غزة حيث تم نسفه بالكامل.

<div>وفي ظل الظروف الحالية في غزة، تواجه أسرتي مستقبلاً مأساوي وغير مؤكد، ولا يوجد لدينا مأوى يمكننا الاستقرار فيه، وأصبحت فرص استكمال تعليمنا أنا وإخوتي شبه معدومة.

<div>وبعد فقدان بيتنا وأحلامنا وذاكراتنا لا زلنا نأمل أن نعيد بناء أنفسنا من جديد بسلام وطمأنينة و‎ نحن الآن في أمَس الحاجة للتواصل والتلاحم، ونسعى جاهدين لتحقيق لم الشمل، خاصة وأن أخوتي الصغار يعتمدون بشكل كبير على اهتمام أمي ورعايتها. نتطلع إلى لم شمل أفراد أسرتنا وضمان وصولهم إلى مصر للعيش بسلام، حيث أصبح العيش في غزة تحدياً يوماً بعد يوم نتيجة للدمار الذي حل بالمنطقة وانعدام الفرص في الوقت القريب للتعليم واستمرار الحياة.
