Mishuan Goeman & Family Fundraiser

On the night of January 30th during whiteout conditions, the recent snowfall & gusting winds resulted in a horrible accident while Mishuan Goeman was snowmobiling with friends. Mishuan suffered a severe leg injury after being struck by one of his party. He was initially transported to the local hospital, where he was stabilized, and then later transferred to the better equipped Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine.
At this time he has undergone three surgeries in attempt to repair his leg & ankle. He will have others forthcoming. Currently the Doctors are optimistic that he will be able to keep his leg, however they are not yet certain this wil be the case.
Mishuan is solely responsible for his family’s income. He is employed as a Union Millwright, and is a member of Local 1121. He works mostly on gas fired electrical turbines. Mishuan generally works all across the United States from September till June. The Summer time demand on these turbines makes it impractical to service/repair them during the warmest months. He must make enough income during his 9 month’s away from home to support his family for the entire year. This is the time he earns his income, yet his Doctor’s say it could be as long as 9 months before he is able to return to work.
Although this tragic accident has knocked him down, and he’s facing a long hard road to recovery ahead, Mishuan will overcome it. He is one tough individual who has never been known to give up easily. He can’t do it alone however. He will need all the help from him friends & family he can get! We can all start now by donating to this fund! All proceeds from this will go straight to Mishuan Goeman’s family to help support them until he can return to work, and perhaps help to offset some of his rising medical costs. Throughout the years Mishuan has always been there for his friends and his family, offering support in a myriad of ways. Most have a good memory of the time he helped or the time he made them laugh. Every little bit helps, so please donate whatever you can afford to contribute.
