<div>ReelOutreach is continuing our work in 2024 and we’re kicking off a new year of events by taking some underprivileged kids to a special screening of <em>Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire</em>. As always, we need your help to give them a night they’ll always remember.

<div>The New Year brings new films and that means giving more kids in need the opportunity to enjoy the latest releases the way they’re meant to be seen. In 2024 ReelOutreach remains dedicated to giving kids wonderful nights at the movie theater and bringing the joy of film all throughout the year.

<div>2023 was a great year for us and we were able to take more kids to big movies than ever before. We’re hoping to make 2024 even better. With the biggest titans of the big screen returning to theaters for an all new epic showdown this March, it seemed like the perfect starting point for events this year.

<div>As always, we'll be working with local foster/kid-focused organizations to fill the seats at the theater we’ll be renting out for them to use. As we've done at previous events, we'll also be handing out concession stand gift cards to the kids in attendance, so they can get the snacks they want to enjoy throughout the film.

<div>As you may have noticed, our funding request is a smidge higher than usual. That’s because prices (as with everything) continue to increase in our area, and we want to ensure we can bring as many kiddos as possible to the event. Any additional funds beyond our goal will go towards our other upcoming events and general costs of running our operation.

Unfortunately, with rising costs for tickets and concessions, for many kids the enjoyment of sitting down to enjoy a film is sadly out of reach.

<div>While many consider this a luxury, for kids in need it’s a chance to escape and feel normal. For those in foster care, orphanages, or group homes, the funding simply isn’t available for them to get treated to the movies.

<div>As such, even a simple $1 donation is greatly appreciated and can go towards giving these kids the opportunity for something they may not normally have.
