Invisible Sword Productions Ltd, a limited liability motion picture production company in the South East, is seeking to raise £100,000 over the next 1-3 months in order to finance the production and marketing of the original feature film, G.O.D.TECH (Genetics on Digital Technology), to be filmed in the UK in 2019/2020 and distributed throughout film markets in 2021-2022. G.O.D.TECH is an apocalyptic science fiction tale of action, desire and betrayal as the Corby family, Matthew, Mary, Thomas and Alice, are captured by a government agency, separated, interrogated and forced to make life decisions that will change their lives forever.
The story begins in the present day with a love story of a young couple, atheist, Matthew Corby and, Jewish, Mary Goldstein and their idyllic world of childish banter and introducing Mary’s new found love to her parents.
It then jumps fifteen years into the future, after World War III, the need for peace has led to a world union where technology and humanism has become one. Matthew Corby (now married to Mary), branded a ‘terrorist of peace’ fights to provide food for his homeless family. When he is captured, he gets tempted by the pleasures of G.O.D.TECH, a microchip when implanted in the head, connects the user to a universe online that they can never leave. After time, he is rescued and tries to reunite with his family. Mary Corby has become a strong Christian who believes that God will save her from any situation. When she loses her husband and children, she searches everywhere for them. In her journey she meets a strange preacher, Carolyn, who is not all she seems. When Mary discovers Carolyn is a cyborg, through the help of Amos, a man she befriends, she finds out that everyone has secrets. Thomas, the eldest child, wants to be like his father but when he is separated , he discovers that living as a terrorist has many dangers. After torture and interrogation, he escapes his prison and re-joins his family for a final sacrifice. Alice, the youngest child, was always carefree but when she is reprogrammed as a Security Soldier, she becomes her family’s biggest threat to their freedom.
G.O.D.TECH combines confidence with courage and a ground-breaking degree of originality. Targeted at the rapidly growing science fiction and religious film audience, the film holds strong potential to break out to a mainstream audience.
