Community Outreach Director In Need

Carolyn Thomas, The Director of God's Gang Youth Outreach is recovering from a severe stroke. While she is undergoing physical rehabilitation, she is unable to carry out the necessary tasks to keep the organization functioning. God's Gang hosts an educational exhibit on African American history and culture that needs maintenance and climate controlled storage. We are in jeopardy of losing vital organizational resources, such as the box truck used to transport everything from agricultural supplies to exhibit artifacts.
The funds donated to this campaign will be used to help God's Gang cover critical operational expenses. A portion of the money will also be used to install a wheelchair lift at Mrs. Thomas' home to allow her to work towards regaining her physical autonomy and return to her post as Director.
Our immediate family, extended family, and all the community members God's Gang has partnered with for over 3 decades, can all attest to the widespread compassion, cultural enrichment, and educational support that young people on the Southside have benefited from as a result of her diligent leadership.
We are asking for help in this time of need in order to maintain the organization's vital resources and to lift up our director, mother, Granny, auntie, sister, friend, Mrs. Carolyn Thomas.
