Chivers I Need Your Help

A lot of people see a GFM and think 'well I don't have $10, $20, $30, and so on to spare right now and if I did I damn sure wouldn't want to pay you to sit on your ass at home. GFM is for charity and people who are desperate'. Trust me I understand this and, if I weren't at the point of last resort I wouldn't be putting this up.
All I'm trying to do is keep my company solvent until, at such time, it takes care of itself. More importantly I'm trying to keep Julie and I from getting evicted which is about to happen in two days.
My two partners who are also big time Chivers and I put all of our life savings into this endeavor and we're all about to go completetly under. Our worst enemy is the word nobody wants to hear.
Funding.
Ya it's a dirty word and everybody hates it. There are too many stories about people who got funded and then spent the company out of business thus screwing their investors living lavishly and not taking care of business.
We've tried every method known to man to get enough funding to keep us solvent until things start rolling and they ARE starting to roll. Just two months too late. Everywhere we've turned we've run into the 'be in business for a year' (how?) or have $8000 a month in revenue. Well to make money you have to spend it and if you don't have any more to spend how are you going to make it? Right now I'm more concerned with keeping my place and the lights on than anything else.
So here's what I'm asking and it's very non traditional. I don't WANT big donations. I'd take them but it's not what I'm looking for. I figure a buck here and there from everybody I know can get us over the hump.
When we get solvent, our aim is to put a sizable portion of our disposable profit directly into Chive Charities. We're Chivers and, while they occasionally step over a social line, their charity organization is top notch and really does actual good work instead of giving 35 cents on the dollar to the recipient and keeping the rest for 'expenses' (I've never believed that a private jet is a necessary 'expense').
So I'm asking all of my friends and acquaintaces to toss a buck or tow in the pot. Help us get to the point where we're a thorn in the side of the big boys. The ones that put everything in place to keep us out. Help us kick in the doors and put a viable business on the street that actually cares about not only its people but the people around us.
I hate to have to put a GFM out there but, if we can get through the next two months or so, we should be alright.
