Gary Hayes was returning home from Texas to his wife and children when he was invoved in a horrific Motorcycle Accident on October 19th. Since then he has been at John Peter Smith hospital in their level 1 trauma center in Texas 1400+ miles from home.
He suffered Head Trauma, Multiple Broken Ribs in Multiple Locations , Broken Pelvis, Lacerations on his spleen, Partially seperated Aorta and many lacerations and road rash.
He now responds by squeesing hands and we are all hopefull for a full recovery. He has had a few surgures already and many more to come. As of today 11/3/2014 he is still listed in Critical/Stable Condition
The cost of this Level 1 Trauma Center is over $10,000.00 a day. His wife is also staying at a hotel there. They need her close to make the nessary decisions for his care.
Prayers are needed and appreciated.
