Cathy Steen Medical Fund

My name is Craig Murphy.  I am a lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Texas. I am a Country/Gospel Singer/Entertainer in the 
DFW area Nursing Homes, Rehabs, and Care Centers. I am very close to the residents and people who care for our aging population. One particular caregiver and I have become close friends; Cathy Steen, (Second photo, far left) Daughters pictured middle and far right. Top photo is Cathy and her wonderful grandchildren.
Her mother is a resident at one of the retirement centers where I entertain. After my show Friday night, April 1, Cathy's mother asked me if I had heard about Cathy's accident. On March 31, while moving from her third floor apartment, Cathy fell down the concrete stairs. The fall caused her to fracture her skull and pelvis.
Two hours later, Cathy had emergency brain surgery. Cathy is a single mother of three children, two daughters and a son, and she's blessed with four grandchildren, with a fifth grandchild due in just two months, so she definitely has a lot to live for, and a lot of living left to do.
Regarding health insurance, Cathy has Obamacare, but the deductible is very high, and the co-pays are going to be difficult to fund on her small budget. The GoFundMe funds will be used to off-set medical bills, and the cost of living during recovery. It is unclear at this point how long Cathy will be unable to work, or IF she will ever be physically able to work again. She is critical right now. She's connected to a breathing machine because she cannot breathe on her own. Cathy is a wonderful person who has loved and cared for the elderly most of her life. Now she needs that Love and quality care to be returned to her.
Please, can you find it in your heart to give what you can to help her? No amount is too small. It means so much to me to help Cathy, because over the years, I've witnessed her exceptional work ethic, and how she has always given from her heart to help others. I know in my heart that the Lord will provide for Cathy's every need, through generous people who have compassion for her medical condition, and financial situation.  It could be that you yourself are struggling with money,  and just don't have anything to give, but may I ask you to pray for Cathy? Prayer is the most powerful force in the universe, and no prayer goes unheard or unanswered.
