In Memory of Marie

As many of you know we have lost my mom Marie quite suddenly on July 30. On June 1 she was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer that had already spread to her liver, lungs and lymph nodes with out prior symptoms of anything going on in her body. She was a very kind person that lived a simple life that she enjoyed. However she never suspected that anything terrible would ever come about in her life, therefore was not prepared for any life changing situations. My mom loved red carnations but had requested that there were no flowers used at her service or given to immediate family. She instead wished to have donations made to help with the high costs of her small simple service to celebrate her life and the remainder of donations made to the colon cancer society. This is never easy for anyone, her immediate family hopes that anyone who wishes to make any sort of donation knows that all funds will be directed in the manner that Marie had wished for. The service for Marie will be held on August 26, 2017 at 2pm in Edmonton. We hope everyone that knew Marie is coping as best as they can be.
