Gnarles Barkley's Surgery

Gnarles Barkley (aka Barkley, aka Gnarley) is a fun, happy, and very loving pitbull who just turned 7 years old.  Somehow he suffered an injury (he never showed signs of being hurt) and suddenly became paralyzed! He is currently at Maine Vet Medical Center in Scarborough.  He saw the neurology team right away and then they sent him for an MRI.  The MRI confirmed that he had buldging disc that was compressing his spinal cord and he immediatly went into surgery. He will spend several days recovering at the vet and then 2 months of recovering at home. Gnarley is such a loving goofball and so full of life.  Surgery was his only option as we couldn't even consider putting him down. We are asking for any financial support that you can provide.  As expected, his bill will be very pricey and we had to borrow the money to get him seen right away. Our entire family is very grateful that he was taken  care of so quickly and look forward to having him home. We are also grateful for all the love & prayers that have been sent his way!!
