Help me become a Doula

Hi! My name is Olivia, I am raising money to help towards my tuition and class materials to become a certified doula!
I've always knew what doulas were but I never realized what an impact they made during pregnancy. I've become even more intrigued in becoming a doula with learning that Black women had a 243% higher chance of dying during child birth than their white counterparts. Being a Black woman myself, this completely broke my heart and at the same time put some sort of fear into me that I've never felt before. This is when I knew that becoming a doula was a path that I should embark on for the greater good of women, transmasculine individuals- that choose to engage their bodies to pregnancy, and my community.
Giving birth should be an experience of joy, comfort, and empowerment.
I want to be an advocate for women and birthing persons during their pregnancies, being the one to give them that reassurance that they are not alone and their wellbeing matters.
My ultimate goal is to own my own facility (mobile or stationary) where birthing persons can receive various services during their pregnancy ranging from nutrition & self care to child care & mental health resources. I am also interested in furthering my education in becoming a midwife to then be able to provide medical assistance.
I am currently enrolled at the International Doula Institute in the programs listed below:

Certified Breastfeeding Counselor
Childbirth Educator Certification
Advanced Lactation & Certified Perinatal Nutrition Educator
