I have a friend in the Beechtree neighborhood of Upper Marlboro trying to rent her basement apartment. She's always had good luck renting it out in the past but her last tenant moved out a couple months ago and with the pandemic and some health issues, they're struggling to make their mortgage. It's family of 5 with 3 young kids so I'm worried about them... especially with it being the holidays. Just hoping one of you might know someone looking to rent in the area or can offer recommendations to help her get it rented quickly. I told her I'd post the apartment for her but I know she'd probably be embarrassed that I'm posting how dire the situation is. If you can't suggest a potential renter, might you consider a small donation? If you know of someone interested, here's some info from her posts on other sites about the apartment.
Basement for RENT!
Private entrance, full bathroom, partially furnished, refrigerator, microwave, dining table with chairs, large leather sectional, queen size bed frame with box spring (no mattress, and no tv included). Must be Okay with kids and noise, as you will hear them running around upstairs.
Beachtree Community in Upper Marlboro
$1000/mo All utilities included.
Anything you can contribute to this lovely family... every dollar adds up and would be helpful but if you know of someone needing a rental, it would really help out most!
