GMS Emergency Assistance Fund

We’ve all seen the news and have had conversations about the devastation in Houston. It’s frustrating to see so many people in need and wondering what we can do to help .
We have been in touch with our three Tejas Materials locations in the Houston area, and fortunately the yards have been spared. However, many of the employees who work in those yards have had to be evacuated from their homes and are in temporary housing. At this point we are unable to assess the damages that have been incurred. However, we do understand the pressing need for disaster relief that Hurricane Harvey has caused and that many of us across the GMS family want to do something to help out those that have lost homes, vehicles or other property in the storm.
To support this effort, GMS has set up a Go Fund Me page to provide assistance to our employees and their families who have been affected by this disaster. As part of this effort, GMS will provide matching donations for the first $25,000 of contributions made to the fund.
