Hello, my name is Mohanad Madi, and I am reaching out for help during a devastating time. My family, who lives in Gaza, has experienced an unimaginable loss. Before October 7, we had a beautiful home—a four-story building filled with memories, laughter, and love. My mother and brothers lived on the first floor, while my married brothers occupied the upper floors. Next to our house was a thriving olive and citrus orchard and a warehouse full of agricultural tools, which symbolized our hard work and dreams. However, everything changed on October 7. We were forced to flee our home to escape the violence, leaving behind everything we had. With heavy hearts, we left with only our lives, only to return and find our home reduced to rubble—nothing but a pile of stones and ashes. The aftermath of this destruction has been devastating. With the ongoing conflict, there are no jobs, no breadwinners, and prices have skyrocketed, making it impossible for us to afford even basic necessities. My brother, who is studying medicine in Egypt, relied on our family for support. Now, due to the war and our financial struggles, we are unable to provide him with anything. I had hoped to support my family by selling my belongings to help rebuild our lives, but with our home gone, I lost everything. The home my family built through years of hard work and sacrifice is now a distant memory. I humbly ask for your support to help my family during this crisis.
