GLT Fight Homeless, Spark Change

As you are preparing to enjoy this holiday season with family and dealing with the unprecedented pandemic we are still living under, take a moment to think about those who are dealing with depression, separation or financial hardships. I know it can be a disheartening topic during such an abundant time of celebration and togetherness, but it is also the season of giving.

Girlz Love Tech will be donating to the York Street Project Women’s Shelter to support 15 families that are in need of the most basic necessities we all enjoy. Things like: Hats, Scarves, Coats, Blankets, Toiletries and compression/laundry  bags. We ask that you consider helping us raise 1,000.00 to support these families and give them some of the holiday cheer that we all deserve.

Our goal is to reach 1,000.00 in 5 days! 

The York Street Project (York Street Project): Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace in 1989, York Street Project's (YSP) mission is to weave together innovative programs that shelter, feed, educate and promote the healing and independence of persons in need, especially women and their children. York Street Project has an established record of providing quality services to nearly 500 homeless and low-income women and children each year. Using a comprehensive approach, we help our women heal from a life severely impacted by poverty, while also strengthening their life skills and independence as they transition to permanent housing.
