Gloria Jazmin Sanchez was born in Manila, Philippines on April 9, 1960 to the late Wilfred “Fred” Ramos Jazmin and Caridad Opeña Jazmin. She was born a US Citizen as her father served in the US Navy for 34 years. She moved to the US at 10 years old in January 1971. She attended Edison High School and Delta College, after which she began her professional career of nearly 30 years in Business Administration, Human Resources, and Real Estate. Aside from enjoying singing, shopping, and traveling, she also enjoyed and mastered the art of cooking.

Gloria demonstrated the qualities of strength, perseverance, and faith. She was selfless and caring to all those around her. She opened her heart to those who were sick and/or dying and honored her gift of healing from God.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Virgilio Cayabyab Sanchez; two daughters, Jacqueline Evayne Sanchez Jimenez and Shaina Nicole Sanchez; son-in-law, Anthony-Jay Jimenez; siblings, Alfredo “Fred” Jazmin, Linda Jazmin Aguilar, and Frederick Jazmin; and many more loving family and friends. She is also the sister to the late Nida Jazmin Halog.

Gloria was a faithful servant of God called home on October 7, 2018 after battling Stage IV Endometrial Cancer. The memory of her smile and laughter will remain in all our hearts forever.

We are deeply thankful for any and all contributions to help relieve our family from any funeral expenses.  Anyone who knew Gloria, knows that she had a huge heart and would help anyone who needed it. Please consider helping her family in their time of need.

From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate your support. We thank those who have been there for us through this difficult time and for keeping us in your prayers. Please feel free to leave messages for the family.

We have made arrangements to lay our beautiful Gloria to rest. Please come celebrate the life of Gloria Sanchez and share your stories with the family. You can find the details below.
