Fire Dispatcher loses everything in house fire
Gloria Simoes is a dedicated mother of 6 beautiful young women. She is a loving grandmother and a wonderful friend and coworker. There are many different words that can be used to describe the generous and loving person that Gloria is.
In 2002 Gloria started her career as a Fire Dispatcher working for the Tulare County Department. She struggled as she tried to find balance in life and work while establishing her career and being a single mother of 6 girls. She quickly climbed the ranks within the department and ultimately became the Dispatch Supervisor. Gloria loves the job, and has dedicated many years to helping others. She has gained recognition and respect from the field, coworkers, and other agencies as she has implemented new policies, and accountability procedures.
On August 16, 2017 Gloria Simoes experienced a tragic loss as she lost her house to a fire. The house was a total loss, as the fire destroyed the house within minutes. There was not much that could be salvaged. Gloria has lost everything, clothes, personal belongings, photographs, and a collection of fire memorabilia that she had collected over the years. Though it is impossible to replace her pictures of her daughters and other family heirlooms, we are hoping to ease the financial burden that she is dealing with. This has been a devastating loss for her. We are asking for your support, we are trying to help her rebuild her life and assist in rebuilding her fire memorabilia collection.
