<div>My name is Gloria Guajardo, and I live in Brownsville, Texas. On January 8th, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Since then, I have undergone numerous medical tests, scans and appointments with specialists in both the United States and Mexico, finally undergoing a total thyroidectomy. Due to doctor's orders, I have been unable to return to work since the surgery and, therefore, have not been able to earn an income. As a single mom of 3 young kids (ages 6, 10 and 14) I have been really struggling to make ends meet even with the help of my wonderful family and friends, who I am so grateful for.

<div>On June 13th, I will begin my treatment with radioactive iodine to hopefully kill any residual thyroid cancer cells and prevent future cancer recurrence. For this reason, I have created this Go Fund Me account so that, with your support, you can help me cover the debt for past medical expenses and contribute to pay for my upcoming treatment.

<div>Me llamo Gloria Guajardo y vivo en Brownsville, Texas. El 8 de enero me diagnosticaron cáncer de tiroides. Desde entonces, me he sometido a numerosas pruebas médicas, exploraciones y consultas con especialistas tanto en Estados Unidos como en México, hasta que finalmente me sometí a una tiroidectomía total. Por orden médica, no he podido volver a trabajar desde la cirugía y, por lo tanto, no he podido generar ingresos.
