Fund for Rural Ugandan Clinic

Donation protected
Over 400 million people across the globe do not have access to essential healthcare, according to the World Health Organization. Included in that number are the individuals, both adults and children, who rely on the Kyetume Community Based Health Care Clinic located in rural Southeastern Uganda. We are members of the University of Missouri - Kansas City chapter of GlobeMed and our chapter is partnered directly with this grassroots health clinic. We are a non-profit, student-led organization  and our goal is to help reduce the healthcare disparity in the Kyetume Community by fundraising money that will go directly towards the community's essential healthcare needs. We are aiming to raise money to supply the clinic in the Kyetume Community with the necessary healthcare equipment (i.e. hospital beds, malaria nets, antiseptic equipment, etc) to allow the community members to live healthy lives free from easily-preventable infections and health issues that are so common in rural, impoverished areas across the world. All the money raised will go directly to the clinic to meet the healthcare needs of the community as discussed between our organization and the directors of the clinic. Pictured below are the many faces of the wonderful individuals we are able to work with and help through the GlobeMed Organization.
