Our mission is to provide free healthcare services and free medications for three months to underserved populations, and offer grants to community-based nonprofit organizations fBSN< or scholarships and healthcare related projects, we rely on the generosity of community-minded individuals and businesses like you.
From the conception of this Foundation, the Board of Governors intended this to be a participatory effort and for the Foundation to become the international conduit of gift giving of ourselves, resources and a model of cooperation for other professional nursing organizations, hospitals, community leaders and entrepreneurs. Our aim is that through collaborative leadership we can achieve a common goal in meeting the hopes and aspirations of our colleagues and for all Nurses to Be.
GCNF focuses on the three essential areas for the capacity-building of the healthcare workforce globally:
Strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of the International Nurses to thrive through Collaboration and Coaching
o To administer programs and services to uphold a consistent delivery of quality healthcare to the global communities.
o To provide coaching and mentoring to the healthcare providers from diverse culture.
Global Nursing Articulation
o To award and/or augment scholarships of nursing organizations, colleges of nursing
o To provide educational conferences and/or financial support for academic, leadership, and professional development in nursing and other related healthcare specialities to promote quality in global healthcare and excellence in education and leadership.
To support and conduct research, educational and informational
activities to increase public awareness of the Foundation’s mission and vision
o Increase and sustain the commitment of donors supporting the globalization of nursing profession
o Encourage the global healthcare professionals and businesses to embrace “Going the Distance in Leading, Caring and Sharing for the Future” through :–
– Global Health
– Outreach
– Advocacy
– Leadership/Mentoring
– Scholarship
GCF is a registered 501 (c) (3), not-for-profit organization that exists to serve as an international conduit for capacity building in healthcare globally through the unconditional efforts of the volunteers.
