The Global Solidarity Forever is a campaign to repair the roof of the Helen & Clovis Julien Community Center & Art Gallery whose roof was blown off because of Hurricane Ida. The Community Center is located in Algiers, 15th Ward in New Orleans, Louisiana. The plan was to make a place where activists can meet and plan the many initiatives that Malik Rahim has to help save New Orleans and the Wetlands and protect it from future disasters.... We are also raising money to repair his van and turn it into a mobile home so he can preach all over the USA.... We have teamed up with New Orleans musicians Heather Vinz & John Henry Kelly, as well as, Dr. Deborah Levy and Harmonii Odinga from the New Orleans Chapter of the Social Medicine Consortium. In the wise immortal words of Malcolm X, “When the "i" is replaced by "we" even "illness" becomes "wellness".
