Build the Global Grandmothers' Council Network Website

The Global Grandmothers' Council Network is a bridge across the divides of the world. We're raising funds to create a digital gathering place, a beacon for wisdom that transcends borders and generations.

Envision Local Grandmothers' Councils, uniting in shared wisdom, each with their own digital home, event calendar, blog opportunities, and community discussions. Consider this website as a global web, connecting Local Grandmothers' Councils all around the world.

Creating a simple landing page is one thing. But to establish a secure online sanctuary where Grandmothers can gather, share wisdom, offer classes, teachings, blogs, and podcasts – this demands a higher level of care and attention to structure and maintenance.

Grandmothers have long been the keepers of wisdom, insight, and guidance. Numerous matrilineal indigenous tribes and groups remind us of a time when women were society's leaders. Many believe that world healing will come when their status and place are fully restored. The time for balance is now!

Our group's founder, Suzanne Lewis, an author, elder, and wisdom keeper, has been our guide for several years. Lewis says, "To heal our world, it will take a global village of wise elders, forming their Grandmother’s Councils, and then acting as mediators, active channels receiving the global network’s calls and prayers, and then relaying them back to their tribes."

We are rising. This fundraising campaign aims to move beyond the confines of a Facebook group and intertwine the wisdom of grandmothers from all walks of life.

Our vision for www.globalgrandmotherscouncil.org is a safe, secure gathering space. A place that will guide global events, host 24/7 prayer rooms and listening rooms for those in need, and more, as we grow.

The program is overseen by www.peaceproduction.org, our 501(c)3 nonprofit of the Heart. Our Admin Mayana Kingery, co-founder of Peace Production, together with her Beloved Andras Maros, has graciously offered to administer this program for the Global Grandmothers' Council Network. This is our mission: to create a Global Network through the web.

Donations are tax-deductible in the US. Your receipt will say Peace Production. All donations are "dedicated funds" (an IRS legal term) stating they may only be spent on this project.

Our preliminary budget suggests that the project model will be self-sufficient and even able to offer grants to Local Grandmothers' Councils for projects and needs they identify. We will also be able to plan events and activities around the world to share our collective wisdom with the public.

The need for upfront funding to develop the website is crucial! The Facebook group Global Grandmothers' Council Network is growing by 5,000 members a week. Our members are longing for more.
