Global Education Allies

This summer I will be joining Global Education Allis on a trip to Rwanda.  We will be working with local schools and agencies to learn about conflict and its impact on education.  I will be taking classes on conflict resolution and then working in local schools to practice what I have learned.  Knowing the demographics of the school that I am currently teaching 1st garde in Salt Lake City, I am excited to bring what I learn from my experience in Rwanda and apply it with my students and families. The money that I am raising will be going to the local schools we will be working with in Rwanda to better their schools and schooling experiences.  Please click on the link below to learn more about the program and the group that I will be working with.
