Global day for Climate justice Bristol NOV 6th

World leaders will meet in Glasgow in November for climate talks, COP 26. Global problems need Global solutions, our voices must be heard.

Across the world and across movements we are seeing a new wave of resistance, global solidarity and grass roots organising. On this day there will be demonstrations not just in cities around our country but across the world.

We have a unique opportunity to rewire our system as we recover from the pandemic. Either the crisis intensifies to the point of no return, or we lay the foundations for a just world where everyone's needs are met.

In Bristol we need to build the biggest march we've seen yet in our city, one that represents all our communities. To do this we need funding, we've already distributed 20,000 leaflets and are doing another 30,000. We've had brilliant support so far from some of our local Trade Unions but we need more. We want a great sound system and staging so that our voices will be heard and we want to get the message out far and wide.

It will cost money to get the message really visible and into those communities often neglected. If we can do this, then there will be more Trade Unionists and their banners than ever before , more students and pensioners and the people of Bristol will be coming together on November 6th not to ask for but to demand change.
