Global Citizenship Education for Girls in Nigeria

Donation protected

Kate Tales Foundation is a global literary nonprofit that advocate for girl’s education with a special focus on GCED (Global citizenship education), women empowerment and emerging writer’s development across the North-central, South-west, South-east and South-south, Nigeria .
Since 2012, we have worked on addressing barriers preventing education for girls, women economic empowerment, and emerging writer’s development. We interrogate and advocate against cultural and traditional practices that oppresses girls and women such as FGM, and child bride rites, and we have empowered 5000 young girls and women, and 3000 young writers (monitored evaluation) across the Southeast, South-South, Southwest, North-Central, Nigeria, with a rising presence in France and Sweden.
Our mission is to uplift young girls and women who are confronted with lack and insecurity; to work with girls from rural communities across the regions to address outdated educational curriculum and introduce the importance of GCED (global citizenship education).

The aim is to prepare and expose young girls and women to global opportunities in STEM and other relevant areas of development.

Our approach is modeled on a 'local to global' standard, executed under what we refer to as the three E's (Education, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship): a community based projects that aims at contributing to global impact.

This page is the organization official account to fundraise for projects that revolves around the region annually.
