Our mom, Gloria Baeza was recently diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time. Her family and friends know her as Glo, Mama, Nana, Sista' and Auntie. She won her first battle with breast cancer over 19 years ago.
Glo has worked as a food service manager for Northside ISD for over 25 years. She has health insurance, that includes a high deductible before the insurance will cover any medical expenses.
Glo will go through chemotherapy for 6 months followed by surgery and then radiation. Her treatment will begin soon. The emotional, mental and physical pain she will endure is great and the financial burden is significant. It will be a difficult journey and she needs support.
