CUSP-ND: trial to beat GBM remembering Emanuele

(English --- Italiano)
I'm Roby, Emanuele's father. You can read complete story of Emanuele at this  link.
In short, Emanuele died at the age of 20 due to a Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM, sadly called Terminator). He was a basketball player and studied Engineering at the University of Udine (North East Italy) but above all he was the best son a father could dream of having.
GBM is the most frequent and most aggressive brain tumor in adults. This cancer is always lethal and the standard of care is only palliative
On average you only survive 15 months after diagnosis. Emanuele died in just 8 months on 15 December 2018.
In July 2019, to survive the pain of the loss of Emanuele and to try to draw something useful from it, I created a website (www.glioblastoma.it) to provide help to glioblastoma patients and their families. The site is offered in two languages: English and Italian. Every week when I have time, I read articles and post, look for updates, etc.
I recently came across an idea that can give GBM patients and their families hope. The idea is a clinical trial called CUSP ND that for many reasons cannot be funded by Big Pharma. This clinical trial uses an approach followed by a small number of survivors: an off-label drug cocktail!
This video explains how this could work and why: CUSP ND video.
The results from the CUSP9v3 trial that followed the same approach on patients with recurrent GBM have been encouraging, but when you have a recurrence it is really too late. If we apply this approach when the diagnosis is new (ND means new diagnosis) , the chances of survival are greater.
GMB means many different cancers and many possible mutations and it is very difficult for a single drug to win. But fighting the GBM with a coordinated attack that undermines the different survival pathways of the GBM has a good chance of being effective.
To carry out this experimentation, various funds are needed. I propose to collect at least part of it.
Please help me raise the money to carry out this medical trial! GBM is the same cancer that killed Senator John McCain, Senator Edward M. Kennedy and Joseph "Beau" Biden III, son of Joe Biden in the United States, and in Italy Fabrizio Frizzi and Nadia Toffa.
Emanuele was a warrior! Let's all fight together like he did. Please pass the message and help me see Emanuele smile from the sky!
