Dearest Friends and Family,
I need your help raising money for my Debut Glen Parks album!!
The music world today is BANANAS to navigate! As most of you know, I've been on the incredible journey of being in a band for the last 5 years, Ray & Remora- we made an EP and a full length album. We have taken an indefinite break and dun dun dun....and I have finally had time to focus on finishing my long going solo project ~Glen Parks~ 's first DEBUT ALBUM!
I've been working extremely hard on this 11 SONG (wo!) album, with my good friend Zach Schwartz over the past year and half and HOLY COW! it is so close to being done. I just sent it off to be mixed and mastered so it can be ready for ears to hear :)
I'm not sure how to explain how complicated the music industry is, but! basically a music label is kind of like a bank- a label will decide if they think you can make them money, and then give you money to front the costs of making them even MORE money. I need to prove myself! So, I have decided (with much confidence!) to self release 3 singles this year with hopes of being adopted by a Major Music Label, who will then put out the Full Length Album.
I released my first single, "Show" in February of this year.

With the help of the internet, friends and my licensing company, Bank Robber Music (the biggest INDIE licensing company, like - EVER), I am currently working up to releasing the next 2 singles.
Alas, Music is expensive and I am working A LOT of jobs; farmers markets, gardening, writing assistant, photography assistant, office manager, perfume making, you name it- i've probably done it. I'm taking all the PAYING jobs I can- without loosing the small amount of time I have to actually work on & get this music out there and I finally need to ask for your help.
SO! essentially... You all would be my label right now :)
I need $11,000+ to get up and running!
WHAT I need:
Mixing + Mastering: $3000
Art (T-shirt Design, Album cover, Single Covers, photography): $1500+
Merch (Shirts, buttons) - $800
West Coast Tour- $1000 +
My TC Helicon(Vocal Processor), Mic & cables were stolen at a show recently: $800
I would love to hire a publicist for the next 2 releases: $1000-$5000
Music Video: $1000
Lastly, I need a few things for mine and Zachs LIVE costuming: $1000
