Glenn's PTSD Fund

Hello friends.  Needless to say, at the end of 2017, I didn't think that I would be asking for any sort of assistance or help.  I most certainly didn't think that my PTSD would lead to the loss of a wonderful job and a debilitating social anxiety that leads me to ask for your help.

Dealing with PTSD is a arduous, lengthy process and one that has depleted any minor savings I had accumulated over the last year.  I am now in very extensive therapy, but therapy and employment were not compatible at the beginning of this process.  While I'm now looking for employment, it is the worst possible time of the year to find yourself unemployed and my medical costs are set to rise in the next year.

Thus, I'm asking for your help.  I've mostly run out of palatable options for what to do in the near term, so I can't tell you how thankful I would be if you would be able to help.  I know that you know that I wouldn't go to this option unless I absolutely had to.  It's taken me about a month longer to even consider this option because it's not something I feel particularly great about doing, but if I've learned anything this year, pride can get in the way of asking for and receiving help.

I'm happy to talk to anyone individually that may have questions about my plans going forward, my treatment plan, etc.

Again, thanks.  The effects of childhood abuse are far more extensive and expansive than we realize, but I'm as confident as I can be that I'm on the right track.
