Glenn's Cancer Battle Fund

Nancy "Glenn" Johnson is in a battle and could use our support.  

It began with a pain in her abdomen.  She visited her doctor for an eval that included blood work.  The blood work gave cause for concern and an appointment was set with a specialist.  The biopsy identified it as cancer.  The silver lining is that the cancer had wrapped itself around a blood supply causing the pain that triggered the doctor visit.  The long-term prognosis is good but the immediate battle is grueling and a test of will.

Cancer sucks and especially sucks when the funds to pay the bills are scarce.  The fight is on two fronts cancer and finances.  Our hope with this Go Fund Me effort is to help mitigate some of the financial burdens so she can focus on her fight with cancer.  She has been unable to work since beginning chemotherapy several months ago.

Glenn = Joy & Happiness.  She is one of the most positive people you will meet.  She is an incredibly dependable friend and a woman of strong faith.  To know her is to love her.

Your generosity will allow her to focus on her battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Here are her next steps in the battle:

- Scan to determine if the chemo has shrunk enough for surgery to be performed.
- She will then have surgery to remove her spleen and a portion of her pancreas and all of the cancer.
- Then the recovery process begins and additional chemo or radiation is a possibility.
