Glenn Broussard

My dad, Glenn Broussard, was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma back in December of 2016. It started in the oral region and metastasized to the lymph nodes in his neck and both lungs. He has undergone treatment locally and it did no good. He has also been going back and forth to MD Anderson for the last few months to prepare for treatment there, but at the last minute his doctor decided it was not safe for him to go through with the treatment. His body would not be able to tolerate the treatment and at this point it would do more harm than good. Unfortunately, there is nothing more they can do for him except for palliative care. The expenses have been piling up and they will only continue for his ongoing care.  My dad would never want to ask anyone for help  or for anyone to worry about him and that's why I didn't do this sooner.  He may be upset when he finds out I did this. However, I know how much he needs help right now and my concern for what's best for him is greater than my concern that he will be upset with me. We appreciate any support during this extremely difficult time.
