Glenmore thanks our fire services

*As of Friday, August 3 we have delivered 100% of proceeds ($4200) to Kelowna Fire Hall #1 on Enterprise Way. Donations through this campaign are now officially closed. Thank you to all who left messages and/or donations this past week to pay our gratitude forward to community charities, inspired by the work of our local fire services. Please see today's update for photos.*

As residents of Wilden in Glenmore, we are so incredibly grateful to the Kelowna Fire Department and BC Wildfire Service for their quick actions this afternoon.  Without them,  a catastrophic fire could have reached our homes and changed our lives.

We are setting up this page for any residents of Glenmore, the larger municipal area (and anyone else) who would like to say a collective thank you in one of two ways: by leaving a comment and/or donating to these wonderful services.

Leaving a thank you message is completely free.

All messages from this page as well as 100% of any money raised will be shared with the Kelowna Professional Firefighters Association and BC Wildfire Service. Both of these organizations have identified charities through which they channel public donations.

To all the crews and support staff - thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
