Glenda’s Summer Program

First, I would like to take the time to thank everyone who is taking time out their day to read and consider this.

My name is Glenda Emanuel and I am a Junior at Cristo Rey Columbus High School. I have been invited to represent my school at the 2018 National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) in Law and Advocacy being held at Yale University. NSLC gives a unique experience to a select group of students from around the world, and I am so thrilled to be one of them.

At this conference, I will be introduced to high-ranking government officials, ambassadors, members of Congress, legal scholars and top attorneys. I will be working hand-in-hand with practicing attorneys while examining evidence, researching issues, learning laws, preparing opening statements for the courtroom and so much more. This program will not only give me perspective on my future career, but introduce me to like minded young people, college life, independence and long term connections.

The program, in total, is $3,195 but as I am off to a good start, I only need $2,845. The expenses will be going towards housing, meals, educational materials and tuition, all at Yale University.

I am really excited about this opportunity, so any donation will be incredibly appreciated.
