Glen's Recovery
Donation protected
April 12th Glen Ritter had a seizure at home and was rushed to St. Paul United Hospital. Doctors determined that he had a 4 cm brain tumor. He had surgery to have it removed on April 16th. Pathology results came back as oligodendroglioma - it's a grade 2 tumor that's slower growing so therefore more benign. He will soon have a consult with oncology to see if they recommend radiation or chemo to make sure the residuals post surgery are treated. The tumor has a chance of growing back so they will be checking him with MRIs, etc.
Glen is now home and will be on leave from work for about a month and Kristin is unable to work as a private swim instructor in order to care for him. This is being set up to alleviate medical costs and help support the family while both Glen and Kristin are unable to work. Thank you.
